The adhesive side holds the textile backing, while the non-abrasive floor-contact surface increases friction on hardwood, tile, laminate, vinyl, marble, or sealed concrete.

This product is not a rug corner pad, carpet seam tape, stair safety tape, or sand-surface anti-slip tape. Its function is more specific: controlled strip placement, stable traction backing, cleaner removability checks, and better resistance against walking shear.
